Shirley Paynter previously worked for a service provider for 18 years as Operations / Compliance / Office Manager dealing with various tasks daily. One of the main tasks she had was to ensure that Accreditations and Memberships were kept up to date and to the current standards in particular ISO 9000, ISO1400, OHSAS 18000, SafeContractor, CHAS, Constructionline and Legionella Control Association. Shirley joined the Water Management Society in 2016 and is currently an Associate Member. Since 2018 she has been working as an Independent Consultant assisting water treatment companies in setting up procedures and documentation to become members of the Legionella Control Association or ensuring they continue to improve their procedures and comply with the current LCA requirements. In addition, Shirley is an assessor for the Legionella Control Association.
