Beverley is a qualified Environmental Health Officer with 30 years’ experience in the field of health and safety within the public and private sectors.

Over the last 10 years, Beverley has specialised in Legionella control within hot and cold domestic water systems.  She has experience of undertaking Legionella risk assessments and implementing Legionella control schemes in a wide variety of premises, including:

  • Retail
  • Healthcare
  • Hotels
  • Food manufacturing premises
  • Offices
  • Funeral homes

Experience

  • Worked as an environmental health officer enforcing legislation relevant to food safety, health and safety, public health and environmental control
  • Worked as a compliance manager for a national retailer ensuring that the organisation met its statutory duties in relation to health and safety, food safety, fire safety, trading standards and the environment
  • Works as a freelance auditor for the Legionella Control Association

Qualifications

  • BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and Pharmacology, University of Sheffield
  • BSc in Environmental Health (Distinction)
  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health
  • Member of the Water Management Society (Full)
  • City and Guilds in Legionella Control in Hot and Cold Water Systems
  • City and Guilds in Disinfection of Hot and Cold Water Systems
  • City and Guilds Risk Assessment for Legionella Control in Hot and Cold Water Systems
