Jemma began her water treatment career as an assistant mill chemist in a local papermill as a summer placement. Upon graduating from University, she worked for Houseman as a Technical Sales Representative and has since worked for companies such as Ashland (Solenis), Biochemica Water Ltd, the City of Edinburgh Council. She is now working as a Technical Consultant for SMS Environmental ltd offering technical support as well as helping expand the North East Operations.
As a professional, Jemma boasts a wide breadth of knowledge and experience in the water treatment industry and has worked in a range of positions from sales, servicing, technical, and operations management, to consulting, training, technical support and troubleshooting.
She is a Council member of the WMSOc and is on the Waterline and Technical subcommittees. Jemma is also a founding member and Chair of the Scottish Legionella Focus Group.
