Company Overview
Amalgamated Facilities Management deliver Facilities Management services in both Guernsey and Jersey and have provided legionella control services for approximately 11 years. We have a dedicated in-house team of 6 legionella service personnel Pan Island supported by 2 experienced managers (both hold qualifications).
Activities include Water Hygiene Services, monitoring and inspection for the control of Legionella Bacteria, Cleaning & disinfecting water systems, services associated with the ACoPL8 & associated technical guidance documents, dosage & control equipment supply and installation, analytical services/sampling which are all provided in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice & Guidance for the Control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems (L8) and the Legionella Control Association’s Standards for the delivery.
All Legionella risk assessments are carried out on our behalf by a registered member of the LCA and samples are sent to a UKAS registered States laboratory for analysis in Guernsey and for Jersey samples are submitted to Jersey Water who in turn send samples to the UK for analysis via South East Water.
