Company Overview

G4S Offshore Islands have provided legionella control services for six years. In the last year we have retained and consolidated a self-delivery model in Jersey and have similarly developed a self delivery model in Guernsey where we now have 2 fully trained Risk Assessors. The service delivery model in both islands is supported by a relationship with UKAS accredited and LCA members SMS Environmental who support us with a small percentage of our more complex risk assessments and provide training, consultation and competency checks on both islands.

In Jersey we have a dedicated team of two qualified risk assessors who are also qualified in a number of the service delivery items and one additional water management engineer who is dedicated to the provision of legionella related services.

In Guernsey we have two fully qualified risk assessors and three water management engineers. In addition to the dedicated engineering team we have other engineers who are trained in a number of aspects of the service delivery.

We deliver Facilities Management services across both islands and all contracts managers are qualified in Legionella Awareness. Direct service provision includes risk assessment services, cleaning and disinfection services, hot and cold water system monitoring services and sampling. All samples are sent away to an LCA registered laboratory for analysis.
