Company Overview
General Environmental Services Ltd. (GES), trading as GES Water, was established in November 1990 and has a permanent staff of 45 people. The company specialises in providing the following services:
- Water treatment and hygiene services;
- Chlorination/Bromination disinfection of cooling towers, water storage tanks and domestic services to the HSE’s L8 ‘Approved Code of Practice for the Control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems’;
- Independent laboratory services, to test water samples for Legionella, coliforms, total bacteria etc., mineral assays and general water parameters;
- Water storage tank replacement, tank refurbishment to current water regulations, including surface coating and internal lining;
- System flushing;
- Legionella Risk Assessments e.g. schools; care homes and hospitals.
